We understand you have many choices regarding learning to scuba dive or take additional courses while visiting Cozumel.  At Cozumel Dive Academy, we take your safety very seriously while keeping the classes fun and enjoyable.  All of our PADI scuba courses are conducted in small class sizes at your pace with one of our patient, experienced PADI Dive Instructors.   You will not feel rushed or the need to "keep up" with any other participants.

All of our PADI Open Water students also receive a free Divers Alert Network (DAN) Student Membership and the DAN Prepared Diver online course.

Prerequisites for learning to dive

• Be at least 10 years old
• Have adequate swimming skills
• Complete the PADI Medical Statement.  Please note that any "YES" answer to a question will require Physician approval before any in-water activities.
